BOTOX®
BOTOX® injection is a revolutionary procedure that can reduce or eliminate facial wrinkles including worry or frown lines.
BOTOX® is a protein that weakens and inactivates muscles that wrinkle the skin. When BOTOX® is injected in extremely small doses directly into a specific muscle, it blocks the signals from the brain from reaching the muscle. As the muscle weakens, the skin overlying the muscle relaxes and the wrinkles caused by muscle contractions soften and often disappear. The effect can last initially from 3 to 4 months and perhaps longer with additional treatment.

BOTOX® injection is for those who:
Before your treatment:
Ask Dr. Stangler to determine if you are a candidate for BOTOX® injection. Together, you will determine the number and regularity of treatments best for you.
What to expect on procedure day:
Your treatment will be performed at our office. Using a micro-needle, Dr. Stangler will inject an extremely small dose of BOTOX® into the designated facial muscles. It will only take a few seconds and the slight stinging sensation you may feel will quickly subside. Because this procedure is minimally invasive, you may generally return to your normal activities immediately.
Realistic expectations:
BOTOX®, when applied in these extremely small doses, has a high level of safety. The BOTOX® proteins are only attracted to muscles, so it has no effect on the central nervous system. Dr. Stangler will discuss the risks of BOTOX® with you in your personal consultation.
